Barrett Township has enacted an alarm ordinance. If you install a burglar or fire alarm system, the alarm must be registered with the Barrett Township Police Department. See the Barrett Township Police Department's Community Services page for more information.

The Open Space Committee is interested in speaking to any property owner that is interested in selling property to be preserved as open space. Please contact the Barrett Township Municipal Building at (570) 595 - 2602 if you are interested in selling property or would like to serve on the Open Space Committee.

State Representative Michael Peifer is at the Barrett Township Municipal Building on the Fourth Friday of each month from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Representative Peifer is available to answer any of your questions.

The Barrett Township Volunteer Ambulance Corps is always in need of new volunteers. If you would like to volunteer your time serving Barrett Township, please contact the Ambulance Corps at (570) 595 - 7621.

Any resident of Barrett Township can purchase a brick paver for a $50.00 for a memorial at High Acres Park. The brick paver can be up to three lines of text, marking a special day such as an anniversary, birthday, etc. For more information, please contact the Barrett Township Municipal Building at (570) 595 - 2602.

Any resident living on any road without a street sign in Barrett Township, please contact the Barrett Township Municipal Building at (570) 595 - 2602 regarding the new Enhanced 911 service.
