In addition to the basic law enforcement duties described above, some officers participate in specialized assignments, such as an inter-departmental Special Response Team, Motor Carrier Enforcement, Accident Reconstruction, The Monroe County Drug Task Force, and teaching the D.A.R.E. program to area school children.
